Management aptitude test or mat is a national level entrance exam conducted by the all india management association aima for admissions to mba pgdm courses. Mat exam takes place 4 times in a year i e. In february may september and december. Aima has introduced mat remote proctored internet based test mat ibt from may mat 2020 onwards in addition to the regular paper based and computer based mat exams.

The ibt may mat exam 2020 is scheduled in one month testing window from may 25 to june 25 2020 and on each exam day there are two exam slots. After holding the mat exam successfully in the month of february now the aima will conduct the mat 2017 exam in the month of may every year aima holds mat exam four times in the months of february may september and december. Results for mat may session have also been declared. The exam is conducted four times in a year february may september and december.

The morning slot was from 10 00 am to 12 30 pm and evening slot was from 6 00 pm to 8 30 pm. Mat exam 2020 will have a total of 200 questions with 40 questions in each of the 5 sections in the mcq format which have to be solved in a total of 150 minutes. Candidates appeared in the ibt mat from the convenience of their home instead of going to an exam centre. The next mat exam will be conducted in february 2021 registratio.

Candidates who qualify the exam are eligible for admissions to 800 b schools accepting mat scores. Aima has conducted its first remote proctored internet based test mat ibt for mat may exam 2020 on may 25 in morning and evening slots. Mat may 2020 was conducted in all ibt pbt cbt modes on different dates in different time slots across 29 exam centers in the nation. Mat ibt may 2020 commenced on may 25 in morning and evening slots whereas pbt was conducted on june 14 and cbt was conducted on june 21 2020.

The candidates in appearing in mat 2020 can move from one section to another. Mat ibt was conducted from november 21 to december 24. The best part about appearing in the mat exam is that you have the chance to improve your score after every 4 months. Individual time limit of all the sections as suggested by aima is given in the table below.

Mat 2020 december pbt exam was conducted on december 6 and cbt exam was conducted on december 28.
